Proefnotitie
Deze châteauneuf-du-pape glanst in een diep, donker rood met bijna zwarte reflecties in het glas en verbreidt een intens parfum van rijpe donkere bessen, pruimen, specerijen en deels gedroogde kruiden. Op de tong presenteert de wijn zich net zo krachtig als gracieus, met smaaknuances van donker fruit, complexe specerijen, hints van kruiden en bloemen, koele minerale ondertonen, evenwichtige tannine, opwekkend zuurtje en een rijke, aanhoudende afdronk met pit.

The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Côte Ronde is an even split of Grenache and Syrah, and as usual, was brought up all in new oak. It has an awesome nose of cassis, blackberries, graphite, ground pepper, and violets, with its new oak perfectly integrated into the wine. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has impressive tannins, terrific overall balance, and a great finish.

Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections and subtle brightening on the ochre rim. On the nose, an inviting bouquet, delicately floral with red wild berry nuances, a hint of coconut and light nougat. The juicy palate is silky, with an almost Burgundy-like texture, there is a pleasant sweetness and firm, ripe tannins with mineral notes on the delicate, lingering finish.
