Proefnotitie
Stralend geel met groene reflecties, het aroma is geelfruitig en doet denken aan citrusfruit. In de mond krachtig, zuiver en koel met nadrukkelijke mineraliteit. De balans tussen een krachtige zuurstructuur en intense extractzoetheid geeft de wijn een enorme lengte.

Very racy and citric with stacks of Amalfi lemon and lime character on the sleek and focused palate. Really linear, but with no hint of sharpness (which this commune can easily show), this is extremely bright and stony with excellent energy. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification.

The 2022 Lorch Estate offers a clear, bright and intense bouquet of ripe and well-concentrated fruits paired with flinty nuances. Round and lush but also precise and fresh with fine, crystalline acidity, this is a medium-bodied, long and tensioned Riesling with texture and grip. The finish is savory, saline and stimulatingly bitter. This is more supple and intense than the GB Rieslings. 11.5% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted at the domaine in September 2023.

Gegrilde vis en zeevruchten – begeleidt ook uitstekend de verfijnde Aziatische keuken en zoetzure gerechten.
De wijn
De druiven voor deze Orts-riesling komen uit op het zuidwesten georiënteerde steile hellingen van de Lorcher wijngaarden die hoofdzakelijk worden gekenmerkt door Rijn-leisteen en kwartsiet.
