Proefnotitie
De rode wijn onthult in de neus rijp rood fruit zoals kers en braam, vergezeld van subtiele tonen van specerijen en een vleugje vanille. In de mond ontvouwt zich een harmonieuze combinatie van fruitige volheid en zijdezachte tannines. Tonen van zwarte bes, pruim en fijne kruiden versmelten met hints van pure chocolade. De afdronk is lang en toont een buitengewone balans.

I love the 2021 El Puño Garnacha, which was produced in a similar way as the 2020, only with a slightly higher percentage of wine in barrel (50% versus 40%), but the oak goes unnoticeable. It has notes of blood orange and a citric touch of freshness that makes it very showy, aromatic and attractive. It has 14.5%, a pH of 3.5 and 5.1 grams of acidity, still parameters that denote good freshness, acidity and balance. This is a serious, complex, elegant and austere Garnacha. 4,900 bottles were filled in April 2023.

Fresh red cherries and spiced berries on the nose with some grilled herbs. Juicy and bright on the palate with fine, dusty tannins on the linear, medium-bodied palate. Lots of crunch here with sappy red berry fruit that extends into the finish. A succulent and nimble garnacha that makes you want to reach for a second glass.
Past bij
De grote drie: pizza, hamburger, steak. Doet het ook goed bij streetfoodfavorieten zoals pulled pork.
De wijn
De druiven voor de ‘El Puño Garnacha’ worden zorgvuldig met de hand geplukt en een strenge selectie garandeert de beste kwaliteit. Na de gisting rijpt de wijn in Franse eikenhouten vaten om zijn structuur en aromatische diversiteit te ontwikkelen. De vinificatie benadrukt de natuurlijke elegantie van de garnacha-druif en geeft de wijn diepte en complexiteit.
