Proefnotitie
Bij het proeven presenteert de châteauneuf-du-pape zich met typische aroma's van zoete kersen, begeleid door subtiele tonen van koffie, chocola en een vleugje drop. De wijn heeft body, is mondvullend en bezit een indrukwekkende concentratie die een groot rijpingspotentieel aanduidt. De aroma's van zoete kersen, begeleid door kruidige tonen, zorgen voor een rijke en complexe smaakervaring die in de mond lang aanhoudt.

Not yet bottled, the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape is 70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, and the rest a mix of Counoise, Cinsault, and other varieties. Tasting like the essence of Provence with its ground pepper, herbes de Provence, leather, and exotic spice-driven aromas and flavors, it's medium to full-bodied and offers building tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. I'd buy it.

Intense crimson garnet, purple reflections, a broad ochre lightening on the rim. Subtle hints of leather, liquorice and red wild berries. Taut, subtle leafy notes, with a light sweetness, somewhat demanding tannins, dark nougat, delicate salty notes, medium length.
Past bij
Rood vlees zoals rund- en lamsvlees of wild, maar ook fantastisch bij een kaasplateau. Onze speciale tip: tajine!
De wijn
Bij de vinificatie worden biologisch geteelde druiven gebruikt, wat de kwaliteit en de authenticiteit van de wijn onderstreept. De druivenrassen voor deze châteauneuf-du-pape zijn grenache (70%), shiraz (10%), mourvèdre (10%) en 10% overige, wat leidt tot een evenwichtige combinatie. Hij wordt zes maanden na de oogst gebotteld.
